Monday Must Have's- The Influenster Edition

So, it's not secret I LOVE being an Influenster.  I love blogging about the amazing new things they send me and I get great things to review. Winter in Chicago is a bit dreary and while this year has been milder than most, it still has really snowy and cold days. So when I found out I was receiving the FrostyVoxBox I couldn't wait for it to come. 

 As you can see here, I was pretty excited to open it. 
McCormicks Gourmet All Natural Thyme

I have been cooking more so seeing the McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme was really exciting. McCormick is a great brand for spices and really recognizable. I know and love their products but had never ventured into cooking with Thyme.  I tried this recipe for Smoked Paprika Roasted Salmon from McCormicks and was really happen with the outcome. I love salmon and have been looking for a new recipe to ad a little variety. This was EASY to make, flavorful, and looked impressive to serve. I don't think I will use thyme all the time (oh that was awful lol) BUT I think it will be good to have on hand for interesting recipes like this.
Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum

So, I wasn't sure what this really was and I don't think it's necessarily the product for me. It felt great on my fave and my skin definitely feels really moisturized but I don't need have any fine lines. I liked the way this felt but I can't really test the product because I am lucky to have great skin. Being half Italian and half Spanish, I have great skin and not even the start of lines. I think this would be a great product for anyone who is worried about lines, aging, or has sensitive skin. 
Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner and Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

Maybe it's silly but I love the Rimmel commercials with Kate Moss. I don't know a lot about this brand but it's british and so seems exoctic. I've used their stuff before and loved it so this was a great. Plus I don't wear a lot of makeup but I do love eyeliner, the darker the better. What I don't love is forgetting to take it off before bed so I wake up with racoon eyes. Getting the makeup remover was a huge bonus. The real question is though, how are the products? As you can see picture 1 is my eyes sans eyeliner and 2 is with it. Black, easy to put on, and does the job. To get it off I tried their eye remover and am happy to report it got the job done. These are two good products I would definitely use as everyday make up products. I would probably upgrade 
Red Vines Fruit Vines

I always like licorice and having smaller bites that can be portioned out is a nice benefit. I like what I tried but after I put them down for a second, I didn't get to have more because someone ate them all. So that's a pretty thrilling endorsement right there. JoeyWaffles liked them but they're not something I would generally buy. I am not a fan of much processed food but if I was on my cheat day or wanted a movie snack, I might pick these up. The first ingredient is corn syrup, followed by sugar and then wheat flour, so they are definitely NOT paleo. If you like licorice, then you'll definitely love these.
EcoTools Smooth Style Brush

So I received this brush and immediately fell in love. No joke, it is now a staple in my purse and I need to buy one for my gym bag and one for home. I am not even kidding, the price is right for such an amazing product. So why do I love it so much? First, it is an amazing de-tangler. My hair has a natural wave and if I wear it natural for a few days, it means no brushing. After a shower, I started using this and there was an immediate difference. I wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded all expectations. Drying my hair actually is faster which is something I thought was just a claim. Turns out it's totally true. So now if I work out before work, I can do a quick blow dry and look like I spent an hour. See below of you don't believe me. But the VERY best part has to be the amazing head massage I get every time I comb. I told my bf and then showed him by combing his hair and now he thinks it's a treat. Guess I should only share this secret with people who don't live with me lol
Celestian Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea


As you can see, I got to drink and enjoy some delicious tea. I love the packaging from Celestial, it makes them stand out and gives me sucha  cozy and warm feeling. There's always such a story and it just gives drinking tea a certain je nes se quois. I love the taste and I LOVE the fact they tell you how long to steep. I definitely have no idea what I'm doing with tea, so this was awesome.
